Tall Tale Tuesday: March 4th

Last week, Samantha at The Marble Jar contributed The Statue and the Dog. It was very entertaining. Be sure to give her some love!

Here are this week's prompts. You don't need to follow the prompt exactly. It should be a spur to your imagination, not a strict rule or guideline. Let the prompt take you wherever it wants to go.

A letter arrives in the mail. It's addressed to Current Resident, but doesn't look like normal junk mail. The front of the envelope is written by hand in calligraphy.
**What's in the envelope? Who is it from?**

You've witnessed a crime and been placed in the Witness Protection Program in another city. After six months, you've started to relax until one day, you see someone from your past.
**Who is it? What happens next?**

A man pulls his car into the driveway. There's a stranger's car in his parking spot and his wife's car is missing.
**Whose car is it? Where is the man's wife?**

Please ignore the Tackle it Tuesday. I can't seem to change it.

  1. Ooh! I love all three of these prompts. Gonna be hard to pick one - but I'll do my best and try to have something to link up in the next day or two. :)

    1. Number three made my mind race. I could think of so many possibilities!

  3. I would chose number #2 and I know for sure it would be my grandmother I'd see. Witness protection always gave me the heebie-jeebies on tv shows, I'd have a chance to change my fears into something amazing!

    1. That's a great way to change a fear into a positive! I'm curious why it gives you the willies. Care to share?

  5. Okay - I screwed it up. Sorry! I entered my name instead of the post name & url ... so I entered it again in Number 3 the right way. Please remove entry # 2 if you can. So sorry. :(

    1. No worries! I'll see what I can do about removing the #2 entry. I'm not sure if I'm able to make adjustments. I can't seem to make a lot of changes to the tool in general.
